COVINGTON – Dennis “Scooby” Willoughby, the Buccs #1 Fan and an Honorary Member of the Covington Athletic Hall of Fame, will be honored by the Covington Community at the Memory Walk located at Covington Schools on Tuesday, July 15th starting at 7:45pm.

This event will take place at Door 1 of the K-8 Building.

The Memory Walk consists of concrete bricks with names and recognition of so many Covington alumni, teams, families and classes and the honor for Scooby will include his name on the walkway.

What made this honor for Scooby possible was the organization put together by Jeremy Yingst and the donations presented by several members of the community to make the brick pavers engraving elite. Thank you to all of the community members who donated money for the brick pavers engraving that will honor Scooby.

Scooby, who was born on November 4, 1969, has been a life-long fan and supporter of all Covington Athletics. He has contributed greatly by giving so much of his time in fundraisers to help generate funds for athletics and has been a member of the Field Crew for several decades who have painted Smith Field. Due to his support for Covington Athletics, Scooby was selected as an Honorary Member in the Covington Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013.
