Coach Bob Wion led his 1954 Buccaneers to a 5-4 record in their last year playing independent ball.
The Buccs, under the direction of Coach Bob Wion and Assistant Coach Blair Irvin, turned in a fine season, in this, their last year of independent ball. Next fall they plan to enter the “Little Buckey League”. During the past season the Buccs played two games from this league, defeated one, Centerville, 13-12, and losing to Brookville, 19-27.
