The scrimmages were closed out by junior varsity as the Buccaneers faced Waynesfield Goshen, Tri-Village and Fort Loramie. The young Buccaneer players played well, which was highlighted by an impressive touchdown run by Tyler Palsgrove.
Overall, the number of scores in the scrimmages wasn’t the full focus of the Buccaneer coaching staff as so many players were rotated in and out throughout the entire day. The biggest impact on the field was the amount of effort and intensity the Buccaneers gave from start to finish.
Yes, there are still areas of improvement the Buccaneers need to increase, but things are heading in the right direction due to the way the entire team played on Saturday.
